The Assam Legislative Assembly Election 2026 (voting date: 09 April 2026) is an official democratic process conducted by the Election Commission of India. AssamPolls is an independent, non-commercial public sentiment platform built and operated by Openlogic Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Guwahati, Assam, India.
The platform was created to give ordinary Assam citizens a simple, anonymous way to share their political preferences ahead of the 2026 Legislative Assembly Elections, and to visualise live trends across all 126 constituencies.
AssamPolls does not accept money from political parties, candidates, advertising agencies, or any entity with a financial interest in the election outcome. No data is sold to any third party.

Anonymity: All public-facing displays (dashboards, charts, heatmaps) show only aggregated data. No individual mobile number, email, or personal identifier is ever displayed publicly.
No sale of data: AssamPolls does not sell, rent, lease, or share personal data with any third party, advertiser, political party, or data broker under any circumstances.
Security: Mobile numbers are protected using one-way hashing in the database. All connections to this platform are encrypted using HTTPS (TLS). Access to raw data is restricted to authorised administrators only.
Cookies and sessions: We use only essential session cookies required for OTP verification and preventing duplicate submissions. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels unless Google Analytics or Meta Pixel is enabled by the site administrator (opt-in only).
Your rights: You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing admin@assampolls.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request”. We will process valid requests within 7 working days.
Minors: This platform is intended for users aged 18 and above (eligible voters). We do not knowingly collect data from persons under 18 years of age.
Applicable law: This platform and its data practices are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules thereunder. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Guwahati, Assam.
Self-selection bias: Participation on AssamPolls is entirely voluntary. Users who choose to participate may not be representative of the broader electorate of Assam. People with strong opinions or access to smartphones are more likely to participate.
Margin of error: All percentages, seat predictions, and trend graphs carry an unquantified margin of error. Seat prediction ranges are indicative only and should not be used as a basis for any decision.
No exit poll: AssamPolls is not an exit poll and does not predict actual election results. The Election Commission of India strictly regulates the publication of exit poll data around election time — this platform does not claim to be an exit poll or opinion poll under the Representation of the People Act, 1951.
Real-time changes: Data on this platform changes continuously as new submissions are received. Trends visible at one point in time may not reflect the state of opinion at a later point.
